Mead Quin

Principal & Founder

With over two decades of experience in fine art and design, Mead leads the studio with a heartfelt approach and an artist’s eye.  Her guiding vision is to design for well-being and inspired living so clients may relax into their most treasured place on earth.

Since establishing her eponymous interior design firm in 2013, Mead Quin has become one of the Bay Area’s most sought after interior designers. Her portfolio of clients includes Bay Area tech entrepreneurs and leading innovators, spanning from Marin County and Oakland to San Francisco and Atherton.

Prior to striking out on her own, Mead had the opportunity to work for, and learn from, Martha Angus and Grant K. Gibson. Mead graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and spent the first several years of her professional career as a portrait artist. Her work has earned her praise in media outlets including Interiors, House Beautiful, Marin at Home Magazine, California Home and Design, and The San Francisco Chronicle.

CJ Bishop

As the design director at Mead Quin, CJ is an inspiring presence in the studio. Creative, determined and compassionate in equal measure, he is a natural leader with an ability to see the best in people and help them fulfill their full potential. His deep well of interior design experience includes establishing his own firm at the age of 27 – a feat of which he is deservedly proud.

Paige Starks

Business Development & Marketing Manager

Optimistic and kind, Paige brings a sense of positive energy and possibility to the MQ studio. As the studio’s business development and marketing manager, she finds joy and fulfillment in using her skill set to help the practice and brand blossom.  She developed her love for interior design at an early age, influenced by a family friend whose work she greatly admired, and she hopes to see the design industry continue to evolve into a more diverse space that incorporates and celebrates the history and creativity of a broad spectrum of cultures, countries and people.

She cites her keen sense of spatial awareness as her superpower, and she never, ever skips dessert.

Maddie McCormick
